I am a happily married mother of four and live with my family in Rockaway. After many years working as a Detective in the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, I left my career to raise my family. Once my youngest started school, I began working as an Assistant Teacher at White Meadow Lake Preschool in Rockaway, and I currently work as a kindergarten Staff Assistant at Stony Brook Elementary School, also in Rockaway.

I love my job and working with kids. There is something so rewarding about a five year old starting the school year not knowing how to zip their jacket or use a scissor, and leaving 10 months later reading, writing and wise to the everyday happenings of grade school.

I happened upon this opportunity to become a driving instructor and immediately loved the idea and especially the challenge of teaching a life skill to "bigger" kids. Having three teenagers of my own, I've spent a lot of time in cars with them and their friends driving to and from an assortment of practices and activities. I've been through the driving school and permit process with two of my children and have seen the challenges they've faced, along with their successes. Many, many hours have been spent riding in the passenger seat while they practiced becoming great drivers. I look forward to sharing those experiences, along with my knowledge as an instructor, with new drivers.
